The Tucson Jewish Community Center (the Tucson J) will celebrate its famous Chocolate Seder on Saturday, April 1 from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. in the Jewish Heritage Center. This famous annual event for school-aged children is so much fun and well respected, that the Tucson J won a national Jewish Community Centers Association Biennial Award for the program several years ago.
Tickets are $3.00 in advance or $5.00 at the door and can be purchased online at tucsonjcc.org/specialevents or by calling 520-299-3000. Children ages 2 and under are FREE. Space is limited. Tickets sell out fast!
The J’s annual Chocolate Seder is a high-energy event, oozing with sweetness and boasting chocolate-dipped strawberries for the karpas, a marshmallow and chocolate charoset mixture and even four glasses of chocolate milk substituted for a traditional seder’s four glasses of wine! The evening includes a fun, interactive Seder, sing-a-longs, prizes and of course…lots of chocolate!
