Jewish Family & Children’s Services of Southern Arizona, a non-profit mental health and community services organization, is excited to host an enchanting evening of multicultural music and dance at the historic Fox Tucson Theatre headlined by Jácome Flamenco’s nationally-acclaimed flamenco production ¡FlaMÉXico! on Sunday, September 8th from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Featuring a unique prelude by the Classical music duo Alexander Tentser and Anna Gendler.

¡FlaMÉXico! is a unique concert experience that blends Spain’s Gypsy and Flamenco distinctive musical and dance style with the rich melodies of Mexico’s Mariachi and charro music. The passion of ¡FlaMÉXico! and the skill of this world-class ensemble of musicians, singers and dancers create a riveting celebration of culture that is not to be missed!

Often described as the “Blues” of Southern Spain, and dating as far back as the 15th-Century, Flamenco evolved out of the traditions of several cultures including those of the Gypsies, Moorish Arabs, Sephardi Jews and other indigenous Southern peoples of Spain.

“My shows and my music are a celebration of culture. My inspiration comes from my Mexican heritage combined with the richness of flamenco. Through ¡FlaMÉXico! we capture the grace and passion of charro and gypsy music, creating a one-of-a-kind tapestry of music and dance.”— Chris B. Jácome
