Rabbi Abrams and cantorial soloist Pam Beitman will conduct a special service dedicated to Yom Hashoah Rememberance with guest speaker George Kalman at Beth Ami Temple in Paradise Valley on Friday, April 17 at 7:30 pm..
George was just nine years old in 1944 when his entire family was transpoted via rail car from his small Hungarian village to a Nazi slave labor camp in Austria. He spends much of his time talking to Arizona children as a speaker for the Phoenix Holocaust Survivors Association.
