Around the World: Adult Summer Camp at the Tucson J! @ Tucson Jewish Community Center

Who said that camp is just for kids? Explore the world at Tucson Jewish Community Center (the Tucson J) this summer! Channel your inner adventurer and introduce yourself to the languages, cultures, and cuisines of China, France, Italy, Mexico, and Israel. Each day of the Around The World: Adult Summer Camp will focus on a different country’s culture and will include a language class, art making activity, and cooking class.

The cost for this new program is $50 for members per day, $60 for non-members, or $225 for the entire week-long
experience for members and $275 for non-members.

Tzofim Friendship Caravan Program

Each summer the Israel Scouts crisscross the US, bringing Israeli culture and goodwill with their unique blend of smiles, songs and dances in Hebrew and English.

The schedule for Caravan performances are:

June 11: 11 am at Temple Beth Shalom, 12202 N. 101st Ave., Sun City

4 pm at Cutler-Plotkin Jewish Heritage Center, 122 E. Culver St., Phoenix

June 12: 7 pm at Congregation Or Tzion, 9096 E. Bahia Dr., Scottsdale

June 13: 7 pm at Beth El Congregation, 1118 W. Glendale Ave., Phoenix

June 14: 7 pm at Temple Chai, 4645 E. Marilyn Road, Phoenix

June 15: Temple B’rith Shalom, 2077 Brohner Way, Prescott

June 19: 7 pm at Temple Solel, 6805 E. McDonald Dr., Paradise Valley

June 20: 7 pm at Temple Kol Ami, 15030 N. 64th St., Scottsdale

Visit OdySea Aquarium after 4 pm Thursday through Saturday evenings in June and July and pay ONLY $25 per general admission ticket.  Plus, for each paid ticket you will receive a $10 voucher that can be used at any OdySea in the Desert restaurant or shop, excluding OdySea Treasures gift shop, that same day.  Aquarium will be open until 8 pm during these events, with an early closing time of 6 pm on June 23, 24, and July 15, 27.

Vouchers are given on-site at the Aquarium, and are a one-time use only and have no cash value.  Discount for general admission tickets only.  Not valid on combo tickets or special encounters.
