Explore a variety of non-political Jewish topics, including people, history, current events, laws, culture, humor, food and Israel. Each participant reads a section of a select article which is followed by spirited discussion. No extensive knowledge of Judaism is required. So, join the group and enjoy a little learning while making some new friends. To ensure all group members have the opportunity to express themselves, the group is limited to 40 participants. Jump in our heated pool and cycle your way to safe and effective fitness. This non-impact, 45-minute class improves endurance, strength and flexibility. Close-toed shoes and a minimum of 3 participants and pre-registration required. Members: $50 Guests: $65

The Valley of the Sun JCC is forming a fun, recreational kickball league for men and women ages 18 and over. The league is open to everyone.
The league will play Wednesday evenings from 6:30 pm to 9 pm, September 27 through December 13, with the exception of October 9.
All teams play seven regular-seasons games with the top six teams advancing to playoffs.
Each team is required to have a captain and 10-13 players with a minimum of four females.
“Kickball is such a fun and social way to stay fit,” said Kim Subrin, COO. “We excited to bring this new opportunity to The J and we want to see tons of new people out on our field having a blast.”
Spaces are limited. Teams are encouraged to register by Sept. 18 to assure their participation.
