The show is presented in partnership with the Sonoran Glass School.

Open to the public, this FREE weekly class for children 9- to 24-months in age and their parent(s) is a great way to meet other parents, exchange experiences, and provide an opportunity for the children to play together and engage in age-appropriate activities. Facilitated by Gabby Erbst, various experts from different fields of child development and child-care will visit to share their expertise and provide opportunities for discussions. Would you like to paint portraits of your family, or sketch strangers while you travel?  Discover the joy of portraiture and dispel the myth that it is harder than other subjects.  You will learn: proportions, how to render features, how to create soft, believable hair, improve your drawing skills, how to mix skin tones, and overall painting skills.  Gain the confidence to paint and draw any person you choose!

Make colorful mosaic tiles of varied shapes and sizes, and use them to fill a wall niche, to make wall decorations or a sculptural tile for your garden, or to cover a table or backsplash. Learn techniques for writing on tiles with fluid glazing or carving. No previous clay experience necessary, all skill levels welcome. Six, two-hour sessions with Instructor Gerrie Young.
