Get a “life lift” every Friday! Join Rabbi Becker for stimulating and provocative discussions based on the Torah portion, the Talmud and commentaries. Each week participants together will “plunge” into the sacred texts leading to challenging questions and healthy debate. In our pursuit of truth our thoughts crystallize and we emerge each week with “breakthrough” lessons that reshape our values, enhance our character and bring refreshing new meaning to our lives.
Contact Rabbi Becker at 520-747-7780 for more information. The program is free and open to all men and women in the Tucson Jewish community.

Congregation Or Chadash joins Temple Emanu-El’s Wandering Jews and Babies and Bagels for a wonderful evening after hours at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. Rabbi Thomas Louchheim and Cantorial Soloist Marjorie Hochberg will be leading the event.
In this longstanding community tradition, we will begin with an accessible walk/hike in the Desert Museum’s beautiful grounds, followed by dinner at the Ironwood Café, and then a candlelit celebration of Havdallah as we bid farewell to the Shabbat day and welcome the week ahead.
The first 50 attendees will get in free! After that, regular Museum admission fees apply. Children 3 and under are free.
Directions: From Temple Emanu-El, drive West on Speedway Blvd 12 miles. Go over Gates Pass; turn Right on Kinney Road. Stay on Kinney Road for 2.5 miles. The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum will be on the left. We will meet at the front entrance.
