Godspell, the first major musical by Wicked composer Stephen Schwartz, has entertained audiences around the world! At the command of John the Baptist, a small group of ordinary people help Jesus Christ tell his life’s story. Set in modern-day New York City, these disciples spread messages of love and tolerance through a series of musical parables. With hit songs like “Day by Day” and “Light of the World,” Godspell has become one of the most well-known and beloved musicals of all time!
Join us in celebration of our diverse community as we bring together a Jewish, Muslim, Mormon, and Mass Choir!
Each choir will sing a few songs from their faith tradition.
Dessert reception.
Presented by Jewish Community Relations Council.
