Set in 1960s Minnesota, the film explores issues related to American Jewish identity, preconceived Jewish gender roles, and the role of community and the rabbinate in the lives of American Jews. The Clay Experience @ Tucson Jewish Community Center

Join us for an experience similar to the ancient ways of forming clay. In this class make object using sgraffito, to scribe or draw in the clay, other techniques presented are pinched, coils, and sprigs. Some ready made forms will be used as molds. Basic wheel thrown structures will also be demonstrated and taught. No experience needed. Material fee $35 due to the instructor on the first day of class.

Biblical Breakthroughs with Rabbi Israel Becker @ Southwest Torah Institute

FUN-Day at Golf n’ Stuff @ Golf n' Stuff

Hosted by CAI’s B’Yahad, USY and Preschool, families of all ages are welcome to share in the fun. Come play with us at Golf n’ Stuff (6503 E. Tanque Verde). Includes unlimited miniature golf, go-karts, bumper boats and laser tag (some attractions have height restrictions); tokens for batting cages and video games. Only $20 per person (ages 4+) for two hours of solid play! (Only pay if you play. Adults are responsible for their own children during event.) Food available for purchase. No need to RSVP; just show up! (Payment due at event; cash & checks only).
