Rabbi Michael Beyo, CEO of the EVJCC will present “Is Israel a Jewish State or a state of Jews?”. The Jewish fabric of Israel is a patchwork of numerous factions from many cultures and all corners of the earth. Meeting the needs of all these groups and their interactions results in complicated challenges for the State of Israel. Is Jewish pluralism in Israel achievable? Refreshment will be served and there will be no solicitations.

Over ninety people, both Jews and Christians, attended each of the six lectures of Rabbi Leo M Abrami, MAHL, in January. We are pleased to inform you that his mini-courses will continue on March 14, 21 and 28.
9:30-10:30 am,  A Study of the Most Controversial Book of the Hebrew Bible, Ecclesiastes (Kohelet)
10:30-11:30 am, The Spiritual Convictions of Albert Einstein, Elie Wiesel and Shimon Peres,Three Nobel Prize Laureates
The lectures are free but you are requested to register by calling the office at (623) 584-7210 (a donation of $15 for all the lectures is suggested).
They will be held at Beth Emeth Congregation, 13702 W. Meeker Blvd. Sun City West.
