The history of outlaws and lawmen of the Old West is the origin of many American tales. In this program, children will learn about the exciting past through stories of heroic sheriffs, drifting outlaws, livestock thieves, and the origin of the wanted poster. Children will see an expansive collection of authentic Old West sheriffs’ badges, enjoy a variety of exciting activities, and search for “stolen” saddle bags hidden in the museum gallery.
