Israel Scouts Summer Friendship Caravan

The Tzofim Friendship Caravan is celebrating over 40 years of bringing excitement, energy and
friendship to North America! Founded in 1973, the first Caravan came to the United States to bring a message of hope and peace for Israel. The caravan will be visiting Arizona from June 7-15:

June 7 at 7 pm at Beth El Congregation, 1118 W Glendale Ave., Phoenix.

June 8 at 7 pm at Congregation Or Tzion, 9096 E Bahia Dr., Scottsdale.

June 9 at 7 pm at Temple B’rith Shalom, 2077 Brohner Way, Prescott.

June 11 at 6 pm at LDS Stake Center, 777 E Elliot Road, Gilbert.

June 12 at 11 am at Temple Beth Shalom, 12202 N 101st Ave., Sun City.

June 12 at 4 pm at Cutler-Plotkin Jewish Heritage Center, 122 E Culver St., Phoenix.

June 14 at 7 pm at Temple Chai, 4645 E Marilyn Road, Phoenix.

All children 2- to 6-years-old are welcome! Enjoy water play, creative movement, stories, playground time, singing with a music specialist, arts & crafts, and weekly guests (with wildlife, music, instruments, theatre, movement, puppets and more).

Secure facility with modern, park-like shaded playground. Snacks provided.

M-F; Full days 9:00am – 3:00pm; Half days 9:00am – 12:30pm. Before/After Care 8:00-9:00am and/or 3:00-4:00pm daily for $6 per child, per hour.

Family Fun Day: A Cowboy’s Life for Me @ Western Spirit: Scottsdale's Museum of the West

Between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., children ages 4‒12 and their families are invited to step into the boots of cowboys and cowgirls of the Old West by participating in special activities, presentations and crafts at Scottsdale’s Museum of the West. Historian C.L. “Lee” Anderson will give presentations about life on the range at 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. in the theater. Cost: $5 per person. Free to museum members. Cong. Anshei Israel Family Shabbat Service and Dinner @ Congregation Anshei Israel

This interactive and upbeat Shabbat celebration for families incorporates fun-spirited melodies and family-themed activities. We’ll share Shabbat dinner, followed by Open Lounge in the Youth Center with games and fun. Come celebrate Shabbat with ruach (spirit) and your congregational family!  Dinner $25 per family (two adults & up to 4 children) and/or adults (13+) $10 per person. RSVP needed by June 14.

Summer Film Festival @ Grayhawk Community Association office

Desert Foothills Jewish Community Association is presenting a Summer Film Festival. Films will be shown monthly following Shabbat services at 7:30 pm. The films will be shown at the Grayhawk Community Association office at 7940 E Thompson Peak Pkwy., Scottsdale in the Raptor Room. Kids Night Out @ Arizona Sunrays Gymnastics & Dance Center

Bring the kids, ages 3 to 14, to the Arizona Sunrays Gymnastics Center where they’ll get to enjoy an exciting evening of gymnastics, dance, organized games, sports, jumping in a bounce house and on trampolines, obstacle courses, and then wind down the evening by watching a movie. The Kids’ Night Out is from 6 to 10 p.m. Cost is $30 per child with a $5 off sibling discount. Pizza, snacks and drinks are included. Advanced registration is required. $5 fee for same-day registration. There’s also easy online registration.
