Age-appropriate yoga poses, animated breathing and soothing techniques awaken the inner-child of all participants in this light-hearted class for adults and children ages 5 and up. All children 2- to 6-years-old are welcome! Enjoy water play, creative movement, stories, playground time, singing with a music specialist, arts & crafts, and weekly guests (with wildlife, music, instruments, theatre, movement, puppets and more).

Secure facility with modern, park-like shaded playground. Snacks provided.

M-F; Full days 9:00am – 3:00pm; Half days 9:00am – 12:30pm. Before/After Care 8:00-9:00am and/or 3:00-4:00pm daily for $6 per child, per hour.

Family Fun Day: Send a Letter by Pony Express @ Western Spirit: Scottsdale's Museum of the West

Between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., children ages 4‒12 and their families can enjoy presentations, gallery explorations, and fun craft activities while learning about the pony express. Mark Reynolds, captain of Arizona’s Hashknife Pony Express, will speak at 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. in the theater. Letters that kids write at the event will be carried 200 miles on horseback from Holbrook, Ariz. to Scottsdale in February 2017 as part of the world’s oldest, officially sanctioned pony express mail delivery. Cost: $5 per person. Free to museum members. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Israel Scouts Summer Friendship Caravan

The Tzofim Friendship Caravan is celebrating over 40 years of bringing excitement, energy and
friendship to North America! Founded in 1973, the first Caravan came to the United States to bring a message of hope and peace for Israel. The caravan will be visiting Arizona from June 7-15:

Women’s Leadership Celebration @ The New Shul

The first cohort of the Women’s Leadership Institute will complete the program’s course of study on June 7. There will be a celebration of the new leadership at 7:30-8:30 pm. The Women’s Leadership Institute is a joint project of the Women’s Jewish Learning Center and PJ Library, for the purpose of cultivating women’s leadership for Phoenix Jewish community agencies. The second cohort for 2016-2017 will also be announced and introduced.
