Channel 12  journalist Brahm Resnik will speak on the upcoming local and national elections at 3:00 pm on Sunday, October 23, 2016, at Beth Ami Temple in Paradise Valley.

Resnik is an anchor/reporter for Channel 12 News and moderator of “12 News Sunday Square Off,” the Valley’s leading political talk show. He will speak about the presidential campaign and explore the forces shaping Arizona elections in November.

“I love talking to people who care about their community,” adds the veteran journalist, “but I love their questions even more.”

Resnik’s experience in reporting on politics and government includes covering the SB 1070 arguments at the U.S. Supreme Court; the presidential campaign of Sen. John McCain; elections at the local, state and federal levels; and every issue of consequence in Arizona, from education to immigration. Resnik also worked for newspapers for 15 years, leading business news sections that won national awards.

The public is encouraged to attend this informative afternoon of discussion. Additionally, Resnik will lead a question-and-answer session with the audience to be followed by light refreshments.

Founded in 1978, Beth Ami Temple is a boutique reform temple for active adults seeking a spiritual connection with their Jewish roots and social involvement in a small friendly congregation.
