Artist Ric Nielsen will provide a tour of his exhibition, Wings of the Desert. Wings of the Desert will focus on entomology and the patterns inherent in insects. The exhibit will explore nature through photography: the colors, the lines, and most of all, the beauty. Ric Nielsen, has lived in Tucson for more than 47 years, is a graduate of the University of Arizona, worked for the City of Tucson as the Art Director for 31 years, and is the Senior Graphic Designer at the University of Arizona Recreation Department. His love of nature started early in life through hikes and camping trips with his family. His father was an art teacher, and Ric believes that is where he gets his passion for art.
