This year, we will once again we celebrating all the wonderful things we do and test for at our annual Jewish Genetics Luncheon.  As in past years, it will be held on Wednesday February 8th at the JCC from 11:30 to 1:30 and will once again include a delicious lunch, a fabulous array of items on our Raffle Bar, and time to catch up with old and new friends while learning about all we do and accomplish at our Genetics Center.  After a satiating lunch, we will feature Rabbi Joe Black from Denver, who will share some personal stories with us.  In addition, Rabbi Black is a very entertaining musician, and he will treat us to some of his uplifting music and song.  This will be an afternoon not to be missed!

Marty Brounstein Speaker Series

Marty Brounstein is the author of Two Among the Righteous Few: A Story of Courage in the Holocaust. He brings a true interfaith story of courage, compassion, and rescue about a Christian couple in the Netherlands named Frans and Mien Wijnakker who, despite much risk and danger, saved the lives of over two dozen Jews during the Holocaust and World War II. Marty also has a meaningful personal connection to this story and its heroes, which he reveals in his engaging storytelling presentation.
