This class is open to the general public in addition to our members. It is offered free of charge as a community service to promote good health. The class will be held in the Social Hall of Temple Beth Sholom of the East Valley.

The 3rd Annual Desert Gathering Jewish Music Fest — the Valley’s preeminent celebration of Jewish music, culture and community — will take place Sunday, November 1 from 2-6 pm at Steele Indian School Park in Phoenix.
Through the spiritual power of music, the DGJMF seeks to create a stronger sense of Jewish identity, connection to community and pride in the Valley’s Jewish population’s shared culture and heritage.
The DGJMF welcomes the entire Phoenix community regardless of religion to attend this year’s FREE festival, where a diverse lineup of artists including Oakland-based folk singer Mikey Pauker, Los Angeles-based producer/DJ Diwon, Phoenix-based Orthodox spoken word/hiphop artist Ari Lesser, local singer/songwriter and Temple Solel cantorial soloist Todd Herzog, local super group Yehudie & the Gefilte Fish and a choir comprised of third and fourth grade students backed by various Valley clergy.
Family-friendly activities at the event will include arts and crafts, face painting, raffles, food vendors and trucks and artisans, Israeli dancers and storytime from PJ Library.
