When the congregants of Beth Ami Temple of Paradise Valley return to their synagogue nestled in the shadows of Camelback Mountain for the New Member Open House and Shabbat Service on Friday, September 8 at 7:30 pm, two extra-special new faces will greet them: Rabbi Allison Lawton and Cantorial Soloist Michael Robbins.
Along with an oneg Shabbat service and wine and cheese reception, the evening will serve as the official introduction of the new clergy to both new and returning members of the Reform congregation.

The Itty Bitty Open features golf for kids ages 3-5. This program will provide all participants with a set of plastic golf clubs. One adult is required to be a caddy for each youngster during the event. DO NOT bring your own golf clubs! Registration deadline is Friday, September 8th, 2017. Best Dressed Golfer & Caddy Contest. Special prizes will be awarded to the best dressed golfer and their caddy. It can be wacky, matchy-matchy or just plain cute…come show your spirit! One winner per tee time.

“Cracks In The Wall” is the title for Esther’s community-wide book brunch for 2017. “An ancient wall, a dying Jew, a new immigrant and the Holy City combine in this warm and gripping novel of self-discovery” by Uri Raskin.
