Located in the center of Scottsdale, Chabad of Scottsdale offers a wide variety of educational and spiritual opportunities, including Hebrew school, Teen programs, Torah classes, Shabbaton dinners and an array of Jewish holiday programs. For more than 28 years traditional Jewish values have been brought to life in a joyous, non-judgmental atmosphere.
They offer in-house services (following safety protocols), as well as a virtual option. We have already had over 500 Zoom meetings, offering Torah classes, social events, cooking classes and the daily Minyan.
Recognizing that families were isolated during the holidays, they offered several outdoor Shofar blowing opportunities attended by over 200 people. For Sukkot, we built a Sukkah on the back of a pickup truck and drove around the city, armed with Lulav and Etrog ready for shaking.
COS offered both online and in-person Hebrew school tracks, adding a sense of normalcy in these trying times for both parents and children.
Their CTeen JR program has become a respite for Jewish teens who desperately want an outlet to safely socialize and help others in need.
These unique times call for a new kind of support as Chabad of Scottsdale continues to offer assistance to anyone who is in need; from grocery deliveries, visiting assisted living facilities (when permitted, with appropriate precautions), bereavement counseling, and a listening ear for so many.

Through their Ignite the Light campaign, COS has raised more than $360,000 to keep their programming going strong and make changes to upgrade and expand the Chabad center.

Thank you to all who made our “Ignite The Lights” campaign a huge success.
With the kindness & generosity of wonderful matchers, friends and supporters, $360,142 was raised for Chabad of Scottsdale from 358 donors.
We have wasted no time, and construction work has already begun to beautify & enhance our Chabad center. The remaining funds will be used to provide services, classes, social action & youth programs, all with our trademark warmth and hospitality!
