The Lone Soldier Project of the EVJCC raises funds to provide support for lone soldiers, young men and women from around the world who voluntarily serve in the Israel Defense Forces. Without families in Israel, lone soldiers often suffer from loneliness, especially when they have time off from their extremely demanding military duty and on Shabbat and holidays.
