Neiman Marcus and Target collaborate for a very special holiday collection.
The end of the year is always such a busy time — the last thing you want to worry about is what you, your spouse and your kids will wear to the various parties, events and family gatherings so that you all look put together for photo ops. On top of that, seasonal financial commitments can make it hard to justify the purchase price of that new party dress you really want to treat yourself to. But this year, your problems are solved.
Neiman Marcus and Target have brought together two dozen of America’s favorite fashion designers to create a limited-edition collection of more than 50 items, available beginning Dec. 1 at Target and Neiman Marcus stores and websites, and ranging from $7.99 to $499.99. Collaborators include Alice + Olivia, Altuzarra, Band of Outsiders, Brian Atwood, Carolina Herrera, Derek Lam, Diane von Furstenberg, Eddie Borgo, Jason Wu, Judith Leiber, Lela Rose, Marchesa, Marc Jacobs, Oscar de la Renta, Philip Crangi, Prabal Gurung, Proenza Schouler, Rag & Bone, Robert Rodriguez, Rodarte, Skaist-Taylor, Thom Browne, Tory Burch and Tracy Reese.
While not all the items are clothing — the collection features stationery, luggage, sunglasses, an ornament, plates, a yoga mat and more — the sartorial collabs are what I’m most excited about, since they include key items for making a family look utterly picture-perfect this winter season. Here, take a look at a few picks that will satisfy the fashion-savvy set without breaking the holiday budget.
