New Jewish National Fund-USA Desert States President Eager to Engage Broader Community

Jewish National Fund-USA’s (JNF-USA) lay leaders and professional team are delighted to announce the appointment of philanthropist, Pam Meyer as the organization’s new Board President in the Desert States region.

In a statement, Meyer said: “JNF-USA has always had a special place in my heart. It is a great honor to be elected as president. I am so excited to be a voice to raise awareness about the work of JNF-USA, not only among my peers but also amongst the community. As we start this new year, I hope to be able to build on our goals of engagement to ensure a strong and prosperous future for the land and people or Israel.”

Meyer’s appointment to the presidency comes at a time when JNF-USA is set to achieve its best fundraising campaign on record, with the organization raising over $120 million nationally in support of its work in Israel’s Negev and Galilee.

JNF-USA National Campaign Director Deb Rochford said: “It is truly an honor to begin our new fiscal year with Pam Meyer as Desert States Board President. Pam has been a supporter of Jewish National Fund-USA for eight years and a member of the Board of Directors since 2017. She is an ardent supporter of Israel, and we are fortunate to have her at the helm.”

Outgoing Desert States Board President Kim Kotzin added: “I have worked with Pam for several years on the Women for Israel Board and the Desert States Regional Board. She is a strong leader and a true pleasure to work with. I am thrilled to hand the gavel to my friend Pam Meyer.”
