PJ Library of Southern Arizona will be offering its “It’s in the Bag” program for Thanksgiving. The program was introduced for Rosh Hashanah and 100 local children participated.

Participants will paint a Thanksgiving turkey along with “Grannie Annie,” using a preordered kit, which includes an 8” x 8” canvas, 16-color paint kit, brushes, kid’s disposable apron and placard/greeting card supplies. There’s also an activity packet with crosswords, mazes and dot-to-dot. The kits are $5; an additional canvas for an adult participant is $2.

The Thanksgiving Kit may be picked up at the Jewish Federation of Southern Arizona at 3718 E. River Road in Tucson. Pick up dates are Wednesday, November 11 through Friday, November 13 between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.
