Wounded IDF soldier rushes to wife’s side in time for their baby’s birth

Major Tal, a devoted platoon commander in the FIDF-adopted 401 Armored Brigade, found himself at the epicenter of the fierce war in Gaza for over two months. Each day, he carried the weight of his duty, fueled by a deep sense of purpose. At home, his wife eagerly anticipated the birth of their first child.

During a harrowing encounter with Hamas terrorists, Major Tal suffered injuries that demanded urgent medical care. As he was quickly transported for treatment in Israel, a call came amid the chaos—his wife was on the verge of giving birth at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem. Although his medical treatment was heading to a southern hospital, Major Tal longed to be with his wife. The team rallied behind him to transport him to Hadassah Hospital, where he underwent treatment just in time to witness the birth of his child. Today, Major Tal and his wife are recovering side by side with their newborn baby. Am Yisrael Chai. Forever. Repost from @friends_of_the_idf
