Tashlich (“throw away” in Hebrew) is a ceremony taking place between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur to discard our “mistakes” as we recite Tashlich prayers. We symbolically thro out sins into a body of water as a way to begin the Jewish New Year with a “clean slate”.
