To Life, L’Chaim Gala

Phoenix, February 11, 2016 — At our upcoming gala “To Life, L’Chaim,” we are proud to honor Joan and Morton Sitver for their many years of dedicated support of Beth El and the greater Jewish community. Our gala dinner and dance will take place on Sunday, April 10, at 5:30pm at Beth El Congregation.

The Sitver’s have been members of Beth El for 47 years together, while Joan has been a member, with her family, since 1949. Mort and Joan are not only longtime members and leaders in our congregation, they are leaders in the community as well. Joan currently serves on the boards of the Bureau of Jewish Education, Phoenix Holocaust Survivors’ Association, and the Beth El Women’s League. Mort is a retired U.S. Magistrate Judge who volunteers every week at the ICM Food and Clothing Bank.

There are many opportunities to commemorate the Sitvers by attending the event, putting a message in their Tribute Journal, Sponsoring the event, and/or donating items to our auctions.
