Friends of the IDF Welcome new Associate Director


The Friends of the IDF is thrilled to welcome Keren-Dee Hamui as its new Associate Director of the San Diego, Orange County and Arizona chapter of the FIDF.

Keren-Dee visited Base 401 and said it changed her life and impacted her relationship with the IDF and her involvement in FIDF. She is from South Africa and her husband’s family is from Israel, Syria, Egypt and Mexico City.

Keren-Dee graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) with a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations with an emphasis on Foreign Policy and Intelligence. She traveled with the first group of 10 USC students to Israel and then traveled several years abroad in Europe after college. Her employment background includes finance, marketing, event planning, graphic design and has started 2 successful businesses.

Keren-Dee is an active member of FIDF in San Diego/Orange County and is involved in the Jewish communities. She is excited to work with the team and community in order to take our FIDF chapter to the next level. Karen-Dee can be reached at kerendee.hamui@fidf.org
